Safe ,secure, comfortable Positive: Great location, easy walk to beach, café and restaurants Negative: Sharing outdoor area with smokers, yuk. Would be nice to have a top sheet on the bed.

Comfortable, quiet, relaxed stay when looking for that little extra space when compared to your normal hotel room. Positive: It was a small compound of 4 villas (apart from a longer term rental with private pool). We were in the Pool Room Villa (the larger of the 4 villas), with huge separate bedroom, a large living room, small kitchen, large indoor/outdoor bathroom and an outdoor patio beside the shared pool. We were lucky enough to experience this pool as if for our exclusive use due to other guests seeming reluctant to encroach our personal patio space. The villa was very comfortable. Personally, the bedroom & bathroom were standouts. Comfortably furnished with access to Internet tv if required. Wifi was good & the Baby Melon Team were accessible & attentive 24/7 if needed via a WhatsApp group. Conveniently tucked away in a quiet laneway but with quick access to the busy Seminyak streetscape & a short 5 minute stroll to the beach. Also a quiet back laneway walk to Bintang Supermarket. All staff were approachable, helpful, always cheerful, friendly & efficient. I believe we had ‘the pick’ of the villas but from what we could see, the others, despite being smaller, were very comfortable. If pushed for negatives ….. aircon in living room area wasn’t too efficient but saved by the ceiling fan. Outdoor patio fan desperately wanted to work but failed to power up and maybe a slightly larger refrigerator for those longer stays. We really did enjoy our stay here though. Negative: Size of villa; quiet yet close proximity to the shops, restaurants & beach of Seminyak. Price was competitive for what you got.

Positive: This is a cosy retreat ticked down a lane away from traffic but a short walk to the beach. Lovely and quiet. Wonderful staff. So clean and homely. Negative: Nothing
